Poetry / Acting / Clay Hand-building

I have always taken a strong interest in education believing that the school has to fit the child not the other way around!

I have five children who all were part of the Steiner Education Community.

Being a mature woman I’ve escaped Melbourne’s weather for the joys of the Sunny Coast, but have been at a loss without a vibrant group of like-minded friends.

I have a background in teaching here and overseas. I love teaching pottery, poetry and drama.

In another life I have a background in live theatre, television and film. I have also taught clay hand building for four years at a community centre.

My degree is in Arts with majors in Literature and Philosophy. I have a graduate diploma in Shamanic Studies and love working with children. I have also worked with children and adults with disabilities and was involved with emergency foster care for some years.

I have extensive farming experience , owning and managing a large angora stud farm , breeding and sending animals to underdeveloped countries to improve native herds.

I am absolutely thrilled to be able to take part in CCALFA’s vision, and look forward to contributing in anyway that will benefit the child’s creative endeavours.

What a wonderful time we will all have together!
