Fees & Inclusions

We offer progressive learning for young learners
(age 8 to 15) over time.

We are not a one-off day-care. For your best investment and your child’s confidence, mental health, and optimisation.

They need to rest in their friendships and community over time.
They need to rest in their interests/ chosen modalities to build skill and proficiency over time.

- FEE OPTIONS -

Direct Debit*

$47 ($37 + $10 materials) ONCE a week (= $47.00 per 5.5 hour day)

$77 ($57 + $20 materials) TWICE a week (= $38.50 per 5.5 hour day)

$97 ($67 + $30 materials) THRICE a week (= $32.33 per 5.5 hour day)

*Direct debit runs throughout the year. Our classes run through the year except on public holidays/ Christmas Day/ NY Day. The schedule over term breaks and the December holiday period varies slightly but run on the same days of the week.


Term-based 10-Class Pass (Lump-sum)*

$470 ($370 + $100 materials cost) ONCE a week for ten-week term

$770 ($670 + $100 materials cost) TWICE a week for ten-week term

$970 ($870 + $100 materials cost) THRICE a week for ten-week term


Casual Drop-in Day Rate*

$67 ($57 + $10 materials) – 9AM to 2:30PM (5.5 hour day)


Adults Rate

Wednesdays are open to adults! The day fee options to attend for your self are:

DIRECT DEBIT: $37 direct debit weekly
(excluding materials/ adults will need to source their materials)

TERM LUMP SUM: $370 per term
(excluding materials/ adults will need to source their materials)

- INCLUSIONS -

Your fee for the day (5.5 hours from 9AM to 2:30PM) includes:

(1) The proposed itinerary (see Enrolment page for current calendar)

(2) Progressive learning sessions in –

  • Botanic Textile Art: This scope includes sustainable, eco-friendly materials and processes in plant dyeing, eco dyeing/printing, indigo and Shibori, Boro, rusting, botanical prints on paper, stitching, knitting and crochet

  • Drawing: This scope includes drawing fundamentals, drawing anatomy, Manga/ Japanese Art drawing; progressing to Abstract Acrylics/ Painting in Acrylics; Mixed media art work

  • Clay: This scope includes sculpting basics/ working with clay

  • Gardening-Permaculture: This session covers the fundamentals of creating a good healthy garden, whilst respecting and being introduced to the benefits and general approach around permaculture.

  • Weaving: Weaving skills, how to start; different iterations of weaving; weaving using different materials; functional and decorative weaving

  • Wood working: This covers basic carpentry skills, understanding what you need as basic tools at home, building practical items.

  • Sewing: This covers skills to operate a sewing machine. And introduces simple practical quilting and sewing projects for play or daily use.

  • Handwriting Practise

  • Yoga

  • Music/ Singing

  • Kids Yoga


(3) CCALFA provides an on-site tutor as part of your package. If you are home-schooling, or starting home-schooling and getting your head around your home-schooling plan – the day package includes a free consultation with our on-site tutor to assess your plan. **Should you need to organise private tutoring sessions for your child, this is a separate arrangement/ cost which is also available – please arrange directly with Sarah Richards.

(4) Materials. For our young learners program, the fee includes all Level 1 (roughly 20 weeks) materials. The fee does not cover cost of firing clay work in kiln. Please note – as you advance to Level 2 and create bigger sewing, carpentry, or sculpting projects, you will need to source your volume of fabric, wood working materials, and clay.
