Mosaic Artist

Brett’s journey into mosaics and his way of life started back in August 2000 when he decided to try his hand at mosaic for the first time. He can’t recall exactly what inspired him to do it, but he vividly recall the peace & quiet it brought him.

At the time, Brett had his own consulting business after a 20 year career in Banking & Finance – a career he just fell into at the time after leaving  school. Although Brett moved up the corporate ladder very well, and now had the freedom to run his own business, his career left him feeling empty – increasingly he wasn’t “fitting in” with the whole corporate scene.

Then came that fateful night where Brett made a mosaic, followed by another one the following night, then another & another….

Within a week he knew his life was destined to change & within 3 months the change had been made – for better or for worse! Brett committed to following his passion. A decision that very few of his friends and family could understand, and in the earlier years a decision Brett questioned himself about many times.

His life since the day he decided to follow his passion has been dotted with some tremendous highs & lows, but in hindsight, Brett wouldn’t change a thing. The lows have rewarded him with personal growth and wisdom & the highs have inspired him to move on to bigger & better things.
